From
the Central Bay Area, it is about 4 1/2 to 5 hours driving time to A Trinity
River Retreat.
Upon reaching Redding, you will take Highway 299 West, past Whiskeytown Lake, then on over the Buckhorn Summit divide into Trinity County. As you descend down the other side of the summit, you will leave Highway 299 and travel a short way northward. A Trinity River Retreat will be found just south of Lewiston and Trinity Lakes on the banks of the Trinity River about 3 miles downstream from the town of Lewiston.
